Bath

Beautifully preserved, it's interesting to know that the entire city has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for it's sheer cultural and architectural significance. It's said to be one of the prettiest and most relaxing places in the world to be. Here are the reasons Bath should be on your travel list.

Despite the 4 million tourists it gets every year, Bath is a quiet countryside town. Hills, meadows and forests surround out, so if you feel like tripping out for a picnic or even a ride on a cycle, it's the most convenient thing to do.

THE BATHS! Not only is there the roman bath complex museum wonderfully restored to its former glory, the spa right across the street continues the city's heritage of supplying a natural hot spring.

THE ARCHITECTURE! Gregorian, Roman and Palladian architecture compete for prominence in this city. Areas like the Circus, the Royal Crescent, and the Pulteney Bridge are stunning examples of how good things can look if only we try.
